Privacy Policy
This Privacy Policy explains how Nephilim, LLC handles information related to Bible Focus, Bible Alarm, God Is · Bible Affirmations, Dovely: Bible in a Year, MMA Bible, and related website content.
App Information and Device Access
Depending on the app and features you use, an app may store preferences, progress, or other app state on your device and may request access to Apple-managed capabilities such as notifications, photos, camera, or other device features needed to provide the experience.
Purchases and Subscriptions
One or more apps may offer in-app purchases or auto-renewable subscriptions. Billing is handled by Apple through your App Store account. Product pricing, trial availability, renewal timing, and cancellation options are presented in the relevant app and in your Apple subscription settings.
Apps that offer subscriptions — including God Is · Bible Affirmations and Dovely — use RevenueCat to validate and manage subscription entitlements. RevenueCat processes purchase history on our behalf, including which subscription products were purchased, when they were purchased, and current subscription status. We use this information to unlock and restore paid features and to understand subscription performance. Purchase information is associated with an anonymous, app-generated identifier; we do not attach a name or email address to that identifier, and we do not use the information to track you across other companies' apps or websites.
Dovely App Analytics
Dovely uses PostHog to understand where people complete or leave its onboarding and paywall flow so we can evaluate and improve that experience. Dovely sends only specific product-interaction events, such as when onboarding begins, a screen is viewed or completed, a reminder or notification choice is made, onboarding is completed, or the paywall is viewed. For each newly completed valid reading, Dovely also sends one plan-progress event containing the numeric day in the reading plan and the total number of completed readings. We use this limited event to measure early reading retention and understand whether people continue with their plan. It does not include Scripture content, passage or book references, reading dates, or subscription outcomes. Other events include only limited details needed to interpret the event, such as a screen identifier or the result of a choice.
When you tap Share, Dovely sends an event indicating whether sharing began from a daily completion, milestone, Journey, or Bible-completion screen, along with the numeric completed day and, when applicable, a milestone identifier. We use this event to understand which sharing options people choose. It is recorded when you tap Share and does not tell us whether sharing was completed. Dovely does not send PostHog the generated card, accompanying text, recipient, destination app or activity type, or any content you share.
PostHog receives an anonymous identifier that Dovely also uses with RevenueCat so we can analyze onboarding and subscription outcomes together. We do not provide PostHog with your name or email address. Dovely does not use PostHog's automatic interaction capture, automatic screen-view tracking, session replay, surveys, or IP-based geolocation. We use this information only for product analytics and app functionality, not to track you across other companies' apps or websites or to target advertising.
Dovely Apple Search Ads Attribution
Dovely uses Apple's privacy-preserving AdServices attribution through RevenueCat to understand whether an install came from an Apple Search Ads campaign and to measure subscription results from that campaign. RevenueCat may receive an Apple attribution token and the campaign, ad group, keyword, or related attribution information Apple returns. Dovely uses standard Apple Search Ads attribution, does not request permission for cross-app tracking for this purpose, and does not use this information to track you across other companies' apps or websites.
Third-Party Services
Apple provides app distribution, payments, subscriptions, and certain device-level services. Some apps may also rely on third-party services to support app features, purchases, customer support, or related operations. Those providers process information according to their own terms and privacy policies.
RevenueCat, Inc. provides subscription infrastructure and, for Dovely, Apple Search Ads attribution. PostHog, Inc. provides Dovely's limited product analytics. These providers process information on our behalf to provide the services described above. See the RevenueCat Privacy Policy and PostHog Privacy Policy for more information.
App-Specific Privacy Details
Privacy practices can vary by app and feature set. Where more specific app-level privacy details apply, those details are presented in the relevant app, its App Store listing, or related support materials.
Website Privacy
This website does not collect personal information through forms. If you contact Nephilim, LLC by email, your message is used only to respond to your inquiry.
Data Retention and Deletion
Preferences, saved declarations, and practice history are stored on your device and are removed when you delete the app. Analytics and purchase records processed by PostHog and RevenueCat are retained only for as long as reasonably necessary to provide and improve the apps, understand subscription performance, and meet legal, accounting, security, or dispute-resolution obligations. Aggregated or de-identified information may be retained where it can no longer reasonably identify an app installation.
You can request access to or deletion of the PostHog analytics record or RevenueCat customer record associated with your Dovely installation by contacting hello@nephilim.llc. If an anonymous app identifier is needed to locate the correct records, we will provide instructions for finding it.
Your Choices
- You can manage notifications and other app permissions in your device settings.
- You can manage or cancel subscriptions through your Apple ID subscription settings.
- You can request access to or deletion of Dovely analytics and purchase records.
- You can stop using an app or remove it from your device at any time.
